Ever since I was young, I’ve felt a deep connection to creativity and the arts. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming an artist, and my life has taken me on many creative paths to pursue that dream. I studied architecture and interior design, working in those fields before I transitioned to life as a freelance illustrator and artist when I became a parent.
Throughout all these experiences, color has been my constant passion—the thread that weaves together my work, studies, and hobbies. Whether I’m blending pigments to create my own paints or exploring color in my personal life, I’ve spent my life consciously (and sometimes unconsciously) studying and embracing color from every angle.
Today, I’m in my third year as a Color Design student (focused on architecture and design) at the IACC Academy, and I’m also studying Seasonal Color Analysis with a focus on personal colors at the ICSI. I want to understand color not just theoretically but experientially. My curiosity spans every field of color, from its history, theory, and psychology to the physics of light, color therapy, and spirituality.
That’s what inspired me to begin this project. Beyond reading about color, I want to feel it, to observe what each shade evokes in me, and to share this journey. Each month, I’ll dive into one color, exploring its impact on my mind, body, and spirit. Through this blog, I invite you to join me in this vibrant adventure, where color isn’t just something we see but something we can truly experience.
